I beat my marker with a crossover, with another player charging towards me i passed the ball to my teammate who made a free basket. 1 point scored.
It was a beautiful moment. But it was quickly being overshadowed by me calling out "foul". Everyone on court including myself am puzzled. Because no one touched me. So who "foul" me?
My mind.
Before I beat my first marker with the crossover, I've already premeditated that I would draw another player towards me and I was expecting him to foul me before I make the shot.
So instinctively even without any body contact from anyone, my mind played out the foul.
Of course I became the joke of the game.
In life, premeditation is common in everyday life as well. Before we approach any situation, we will always have certain expectation and even if things turned out differently. This premeditation will act out exactly what we expect.
Question: What if we change our premeditation thoughts?
With this new perspective how different would things be?
To Live. To Love. To Inspire.
